Nordic collaboration in action – A step forward to build real impact

We just wrapped up an energizing workshop uniting passionate minds from across the Nordics and Europe to advance sports innovation, including University of Gothenburg, SportsTech Sweden, Sports Lab Copenhagen, University of Southern Denmark, The Sport Institute of Finland, Norwegian Sport Tech, and Deep Tech Sports Education. Together, we tackled everything from breaking down work packages to discussing how we can amplify our impact and funding prospects.

Key Highlights:
✅ Shared Vision: Building on efforts like Nordic Made Sports Innovation, we’re strengthening cross-border ties for greater global reach.
✅ Concrete Planning: Clear roles and responsibilities set the stage for accountability and meaningful deliverables.
✅ Funding Focus: We explored ways to secure resources for long-term collaboration and continuous breakthroughs.

One of our guiding inspirations came from a former minister in Finland, who reminded us:

“WORK TOGETHER ON A NORDIC LEVEL… YOU NEED A SYSTEM LEVEL APPROACH.”
